This beach trip begins at the charming Bomani Resort in Kikambala. Nestled on a 12-acre working farm, the resort offers a tranquil retreat from the bustling beachfront. You will stay in a beautifully furnished stone cottage or glamping tent that offers the perfect balance of modern comfort and rustic charm. The resort’s facilities, include a swimming pool and immaculate gardens, that offer the ideal setting for relaxation and reflection after your days at sea. This package combines the thrill of an excellent marine safari with the peaceful, authentic ambiance of a Kenyan farm stay to ensure a truly unique and restorative vacation.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Mombasa (MBA) and take a pre-arranged transfer to Bomani Resort in Kikambala (approx. 35km). Check into your Langi Langi Stone Cottage. Enjoy a light lunch prepared by the chef on demand. Relax by the pool or explore the working farm. Enjoy a delicious, fresh dinner prepared at the resort, featuring local ingredients from the farm.
Day 2: Early breakfast at the resort. Transfer to Watamu Marine National Park (approx. 75km, 1.5-2hr drive). Full-day boat-based snorkeling/diving trip to the coral gardens and drop-offs for the whale shark encounter. Packed lunch enjoyed on the boat. Continue the search for whale sharks and combine the experience with viewing manta rays and other vibrant reef life. Best Time to Visit:
Day3: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Optional: Morning trip to Watamu Beach for a walk or visit the nearby Gede Ruins (approx. 15km from Watamu). Return to the resort for lunch. Day 4: Breakfast at Bomani Resort. Enjoy the last moments of tranquility. Check-out and transfer back to Mombasa for your onward journey. Lunch en route or at the airport (not included).
